Clinical Supervision

If you are seeking licensure as a marriage and family therapist or professional counselor in Pennsylvania, I am able to provide clinical supervision of your work.

I have completed all necessary hours to become an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and expect to receive the accreditation in 2016.  Because I am a supervisor candidate, your clinical supervision hours with me will count towards licensure.  Clinical supervision remains effective for therapists that are already licensed.  It is an opportunity to enhance and perfect your skills.

I provide clinical supervision in a group and individual setting.  You may attend either or both.

What happens in supervision?

Whether you are participating in group or individual supervision, you will receive clinical guidance and mentoring.  Clinicians are expected to come prepared, bringing questions about a client they are treating.  Client information will be kept confidential to the treating clinician.  No identifying information will be shared in supervision.

Clinicians will receive supervision and guidance on:

  • Ethics
  • Legal concerns
  • Case conceptualization
  • Treatment planning
  • Assessment
  • Referrals and appropriate levels of care
  • Interventions

Clinical Supervision Schedule and Fee

Group supervision is held one Wednesday per month 9-11:30am and individual supervision is scheduled separately.
Group Supervision is $70 per group; Individual Supervision is $70 per hour.
