Change the Stigma

Even in 2017, with all the information and education on addiction, a strong stigma still remains. The simplest, easiest, and most effective way to reduce the shame and stigma associated with addiction is to talk about.

Talking openly and honestly lets others know they don’t have to suffer in silence.  They don’t have to feel alone and ashamed.

One of the primary unspoken rules that allows addiction to grow is “Don’t Talk.”
It’s time to change the conversation.  Let’s talk about it! Talk about the struggle, the success, the worry, the pride, the anger, and the joy.  Talk to one another, talk to professionals, talk to family and to friends.
